Stones Throw records has made available for you downloading pleasure, Jaylib vs J Rocc. Circa 2003.

J Rocc, who would later become Jaylib’s third member, put together this mixtape using Dilla, Madlib and Jaylib beats essentially telling the story of the group.

The mixtape was first released on 2003 as a CD and was later pressed as a 45. The cool packaging for the 45 was designed using photos of Dilla & Madlib, each on their own studio, taken by photographer B+. The CD and 45 are long out of stock, but thanks to Stone Throw records, you can download it for free here.
